Integrated Optimal Planning of Distribution Network With Geographical-Zone-Restricted Renewable Energy Sources

Recently, a lot of renewable energy sources have been integrated into the distribution network. In consideration economy and construction feasibility, some are required to be installed in specific areas. this paper, bi-layer network planning optimization model that considers geographical restrictions installation locations substation, pumped storage plant, photovoltaic (PV) wind power, as well impact operation on planning, is proposed. layer, optimal topology with minimal total cost obtained. The substation determined by particle swarm (PSO), then all components interconnected using dynamic minimum spanning tree (DMST) method. economic strategy hybrid system uncertainty obtained scenario-based stochastic power flow (OPF). forecast error uncertain variable represented probability function, roulette wheel mechanism (RWM) used generate scenarios.
